With pictures: the weekly march in Sheikh Jarrah in the snow
Locals of Sheikh Jarrah and peace activists organized on Friday the weekly protest in the neighbourhood despite the snowfall in the city of Jerusalem. The participants raised the Palestinian flag and signs that said “No to occupation” and chanted slogans against the settlements in Sheikh Jarrah and Judaization of the neighbourhood. The locals organize a weekly march in the neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah since 2009 to condemn the confiscation of Arabs’ houses in favor of Israeli settlers.
