Extending the arrest of 8 Jerusalemites and isolating a child from Al-Aqsa for 30 days
The Magistrate court extended the arrest of 8 Jerusalemites and released two others. Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, and Ziad Hidmi from the Global Movement for the Defense of Children said that the Magistrate court judge extended the arrest of 19-year old Fadi Rajabi, 15-year old Mohammad Abed Elmin’em A’war and 17-year old Mustafa Shihadeh until next Sunday to investigate them on charges of throwing stones in Al-Aqsa Mosque; note that they were arrested on Wednesday early morning hours from their homes in Silwan. They added that the court extended the arrest of Shadi Labban Mughrabi and Ahmad Hadeeb until Thursday on charges of throwing stones in Al-Aqsa. The Israeli police released the child Majd Da’na with a bail of 500 NIS and on condition of isolating him from Al-Aqsa for 30 days. The police also released 17-year old Ahmad Nader Odeh without any conditions; note that he was arrested from his home in Silwan on Wednesday. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the District court extended the arrest of 13-year old Othman Amer Is’eed from the neighbourhood of Al-Sa’dyeh in the old city of Jerusalem until 22/12/2012 because the “conducts officer” did not submit his report yet; note that has been arrested for a month now. The Magistrate court judge also extended the arrest of Rami Barakeh until next Tuesday, and Akram Shurafa until next Wednesday; note that both of their hearing sessions were confidential.
