Extending the arrest of 8 Jerusalemites and the conditional release of a young man

The Magistrate court judge extended the arrest of 8 Jerusalemites on Thursday and released one young man under the condition of paying a financial bail. The Prisoner’s Club lawyer, Mufeed Al-Hajj, said that the general prosecution submitted a prosecutor’s permit to submit an indictment against Mohammad Beebe, Issa Beebe, Mohammad Ghanem and Malek Shweiki which will include charges of throwing stones and Molotov cocktails. The general prosecution also submitted a prosecutor’s permit to submit an indictment against Abdelkarim and Jawad Ahmad Obeid which includes charges of throwing stones in the old city of Jerusalem and extended their arrest until Sunday. The lawyer added that the judge released Akram Shurafa with a 5000-NIS bail and house arrest for 30 days and prevented him from talking to people related to the investigation file in addition to a special bail of 15 thousand NIS. In a related matter, the Magistrate court judge extended the arrest of Mahmoud Alqaq and Safwat Tawil until Sunday to submit an indictment against them.
