Activists fail a normalization conference in Jerusalem
Palestinian activists were able to fail a normalization conference that was held in the Ambassador Hotel in Jerusalem. The activists managed to enter the conference room at the Ambassador Hotel after just a few minutes of starting and chanted against the normalization meetings. Verbal altercations broke out between the conference organizers and the young people forcing the participating Israeli delegation and a group of “Palestinian Peace activists” to immediately leave the Hotel. It is noteworthy that a similar conference was held on Thursday in the “City Inn” Hotel in Ramallah and was also thwarted by some activists. The conference was held as an initiative from the “Peace Ideas” foundation to discuss “Foundations of Peace” between Israelis and Palestinians.
