Sentencing prisoner Ma’moon Farhan for five years in prison

The District court sentenced on Wednesday the 21-year old Jerusalemite prisoner Ma’moon Ali Ahmad Farhan for five years of actual imprisonment. Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemite detainees and prisoners families committee, said that the District court sentenced Ma’moon for five years after he was convicted of throwing Molotov cocktails at the occupation soldiers who broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque on 08/03/2013 which led to burning some of them; note that he was arrested on the same day at the crossing of Shu’fat Refugee camp. Ma’moon was transferred in between several prisons and is now in Nafha prison with his older brother Mohammad who waiting for his trial in the next few days on the same charges.
