In picture… sentencing Sheikh Raed Salah for 8 months of actual imprisonment
The Magistrate court judge sentenced on Tuesday the director is Islamic movement in the 1948 lands, Sheikh Raed Salah, for 8 months of actual imprisonment, and a suspended probation of 8 more months on charges of “incitement to violence” in the case known by “Speech of Wadi Al-Joz” that occurred on Friday the 16th of February, 2012 which came as a result of the occupation’s crime when they demolished part of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Dung Gate on 06/02/2007. After the sentencing and exit of Sheikh Salah from the courthouse, the extremist settler “Etmar Ben Jabir” attacked the audience describing Sheikh Raed a “terrorist, and your natural place is in prison”. Verbal altercations broke out between the extremist and the delegation accompanying Sheikh Raed who chanted “We will sacrifice our soul and blood for Al-Aqsa”. The court’s guards interfered and removed him from the area. Sheikh Raed Salah said: “the decision of actual imprisonment reflects the Israeli injustice, and this heralds the imminent demise of the Israeli occupation.”
