The police arrest a child from Silwan…extensions of arrest and releases

The Israeli police arrested the 13-year old child Daoud Sawalha while he was at the barber shop in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh on Thursday night under the pretext of carrying a knife. On the other hand, the Magistrate court judge extended the arrest of Murad Alayan until Sunday; note that he was arrested on 22/07/2014 and has been on a hunger strike since. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the Magistrate judge released Ibrahim Jaber with a 1000-NIS financial bail and house arrest for 10 days. He also released the children Mohammad Al-Zeer and Ibrahim Al-Zeer with a bail of 500 NIS and house arrest for 7 days. He District Court declined an appeal submitted by lawyer Mohammad against extending the arrest of his client Khaled Abu Sneineh. The judge also sentenced on Thursday the minor Amjad Abu Sneineh for public service for six months and a fine of 3 thousand NIS on charges of throwing stones.
