In pictures: the arrest of a woman after assaulting her during Al-Aqsa break-in by a member of the Knesset
The Israeli forces arrested on Monday Sahar Natsheh after assaulting and pushing her to secure the break-in of the member of the Knesset, “Shuli Mo’lam”, to Al-Aqsa Mosque. Witnesses said that the member of the Knesset broke into Al-Aqsa and carried out a tour into its courtyards. Upon arrival to the courtyard of the Dome of the Rock, women started chanting “God is Great” to condemn the break-in and one of the Special Forces chased Sahar and pulled her and then a group of forces gathered around her and pushed her. Witnesses also said that Al-Awqaf employees headed by Sheikh Omar Kiswani, director of Al-Aqsa, hurried to help Sahar but the police insisted on arresting her and taking her to the police center for investigation. In a related matter, the police closed some of Al-Aqsa Gates (Kind Faisal, Ghawanmeh, Hadeed and Qataneen Gates) and allowed Muslims to enter through Lions, Hutta, Al-Majles and Chain Gates; note that men under the age of 40 are still being prevented from entering Al-Aqsa and women have to leave their IDs at the Gates before entering the Mosque. “Shahar Glick”, the son of the extremist Rabbi also broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday.
