Arresting three young men from Wadi Al-Joz…raiding houses in Silwan
Clashes broke out on Sunday night in the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Joz in the city of Jerusalem and the forces assaulted the residents with sound grenades and rubber bullets. The forces arrested three young men from Wadi Al-Joz, they are: 24-year old Mohammad Abu Dalu, 25-year old Zakaria Hirbawi and 19-year old Mutaz Kulghasi. A large number of Special Forces also raided the neighborhoods of Bi’er Ayoub and Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan and went on top of the roofs of the houses and took pictures. They also raided some houses and searched them in addition to checking the IDs of several young men and video-recording them. The forces went on top of the roofs of Abu Tayeh family which is close to the bridge in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh and took pictures of the residential houses. The forces also fired tear gas grenades towards the houses in Al-Thori on Sunday afternoon and one grenade hit the house of Abu Hadwan family and led to the suffocation of family members; note that the house is far from where the forces were stationed. The Israeli authorities (municipality, taxes, Ministry of Health and traffic police) were deployed in the areas of Al-Tur, Silwan, Wadi Al-Joz and Esawyeh and took pictures of residential buildings and raided commercial establishments and also issued traffic tickets for dozens of cars.
