Arrests
The Israeli forces arrested on Monday the Jerusalemite Hani Gheith and transferred him to Al-Maskobyeh for interrogation and later extended his arrest until Tuesday. The forces also arrested Abdullah Ghannam after raiding his house in the neighborhood of Wadi Hilweh, and arrested two children, Mohammad Assaileh and Abdullah Abu Salb, and two brothers from Al-Baytouni family. In a related matter, Al-Dameer organization lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud said that the Magistrate judge decided on Monday to extended the arrest of the minor Wasim Sroor, Khaled Alayan, Nour Alayan and Muhtadi As’ad until Tuesday, and Mohammad Al-Razem and the minor Mohammad Dandis until Thursday, and the minor Ali Obeid until Wednesday to submit an indictment against him and Baha’ Eddin Ahmad Abulhawa until Wednesday. The judge released the 12-year old Mohammad Fayez Abu Mayyaleh without any conditions and released Abdullah Tawil and Yousef Natsheh with a bail of 750 NIS and house arrest for 7 days in additrion to a third-party bail. He also released Bilal Abulhawa with a third-party bail and Yousef Bahr with a bail of 1000 NIS and house arrest for one day and a third-party bail. The judge also released Majd Ramadi with a 750-NIS bail and house arrest until next Thursday and a third-party bail. He judge decided to extend the arrest of Nimer Bashir until 19/11 and Rami Barakat until 16/11 which is when the so-called “conduct officer” will release his report. The Magistrate judge also released Mahmoud Shafiq with no conditions and lawyer Mahmoud explained that his client Obeid was charged of throwing firecrackers and Molotov cocktails on 26/10/2014 but he explained to the judge that his client was arrested at that time and was released on 29/10/2014 which indicates a mistake in the Intelligence information. In a related matter, the police called the 18-year old Fouad Ahmad Al-Qaq to interrogate him regarding the posts he publishes on his Facebook account. He was also interrogated regarding the latest incidents in Silwan and especially Ein Al-Lozeh; it is noteworthy that Al-Qaq was arrested twice where the last time was two months ago and was sentenced for two months of actual imprisonment. On the other hand, the Israeli police said that they arrested four young men from the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Joz.
