The Martyr Yousef Rammouni was killed by being choked and hung to death and the exclusion of his suicide

The director of the Forensic Medicine Institute, Dr Saber Al-Aloul, handed the lawyer of the family of the 32-year old Martyr Yousef Hasan Rammouni the initial report of dissecting the Martyr’s body which was conducted in Abu Kbeir Institute upon the family’s request to uncover the causes and circumstances of the Martyrdom. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the autopsy results revealed the reason of the Martyrdom of Yousef Rammouni which was “choking and hanging to death”, and Dr Aloul excluded that the young men committed suicide as the Israeli reports claimed. The lawyer added that Dr Aloul excluded the suicide for the following reasons:

  • The person that commits suicide usually breaks the first disk in his neck but the Martyr’s first disk was not broken.
  • The so-called “livor mortis” should be in the legs of a person when he commits suicide while in the Martyr’s case, it was in his back.
According to the report, the Martyr might have been exposed to an organized crime where he was sprayed with a narcotic substance before being choked and this will only show after doing the necessary blood tests and that’s why samples were taken from the body fluids and tissues to be tested and check for the presence of narcotic substances; note that these tests might take up to three months. The report showed the presence of choking marks at the neck’s mid-level in addition to bleeding spots on the outside of the lungs and heart and the presence of swelling and congestion in the internal organs, in addition to the presence of signs and marks of reviving. The report also showed no signs of injury Martyr’s body and the injury was in the neck and showed that he was choked and led to the interruption of oxygen from the brain, resulting in instant death. Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud said: “It looks like the process of killing the Martyr Yousef Rammouni was done in a good way and the autopsy reports refute the Israeli claims and reveal the truth.
