In pictures: The arrest of 12 members of Abu Al-Jamal family after raiding their houses and assaulting the residents
The Israeli Special Forces raided the houses of the Martyrs Ghassan and Odai Abu Al-Jamal and assaulted the residents and fired grenades and rubber bullets and then searched both houses and damaged their contents. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Israeli forces arrested Ghassan’s mother and wife, Odai’s mother, Murad, Mouawya, Mutaz, Munther, Jamal, Daoud, Odai, Ra’fat and Mohammad Abu Al-Jamal. The center was also informed that scattered clashes broke out in Jabal Al-Mukabber especially around the Martyrs’ houses. The forces were also targeting the residential houses and the residents and they withdrew from the streets of the village at 1:15 p.m. During the clashes, 22 people were injured including 17 suffocation cases and 5 with rubber bullets including one paramedic. Treatment was provided for the injuries which were described as minor to moderate. The forces also closed the entrance of Jabal Al-Mukabber with cement blocks after it was closed by the Israeli police since the morning. The Martyr Ghassan has three children where the oldest is six and the youngest is three years old.
