An extremist settler break into a house in Silwan and assault Ne’ma Abu Hadwan
The 57-year old Ne’ma Abu Hadwan was injured with severe burns in her face and neck after she was sprayed with pepper gas by an extremist settler that broke into Abu Hadwan’s house in Dung Gate while she was sleeping.
Khaled Abu Hadwan said: “the extremist raided the family house on Sunday and sprayed my mother with pepper gas while she was sleeping. My brother Mohammad woke up after hearing my mother scream and hurried to find out what is going on. He tried to follow the settler who ran towards the Wailing Wall through Dung Gate.
Abu Hadwan added that a police force that was present in the area prevented his brother Mohammad from following the settler to catch her and hand her to the police who only came to the house and investigated the matter.
The lady was transferred to the hospital to receive treatment due to the severe pains.
