Settlers assault Mahmoud Isam Obeid
The 19-year old Mahmoud Isam Obeid was injured with bruises in his leg after five settlers attacked him near the settlement of “French Hill”. The young man was on his way to the village of Esawyeh when a car with five settlers inside stopped near him. One settler asked him for a “lighter” and the young man responded that he did not have one. According to Mahmoud, the settler got out of the car and pushed Mahmoud who pushed the settler back. Mahmoud added that four other settlers go out of the car and attempted to attack him with sticks, knives and screwdrivers that they had with them but he managed to run away. The young man’s father took his son to Al-Maqased hospital and he was injured with bruises in his left leg.
