Deporting five Jerusalemites from the city according to the “Emergency Laws”
The Israeli authorities deported five Jerusalemites from the city of Jerusalem for five months after a decision was made by the Internal Area Commander and the Military Commander “Ayal Ezmeberg” according to the “Emergency Laws”. They are: Akram Shurafa, Daoud Al-Ghoul (31), Majd Darwish (24), Saleh Dirbas (23) and Fares Abu Ghannam. A large Israeli force raided the house of Akram Shurafa last Thursday and confiscated some documents and left him a request for investigation; he was handed the deportation order at the interrogation center. The deportation orders which were signed by the Area Commander stated that the five Jerusalemites should stay outside the borders of Jerusalem from 30/11/2014 until 30/04/2015 for the safety of the state’s security. The decisions could be appealed within 7 days from the day they were signed and documents have to be submitted through a lawyer and anything other than is considered to be a violation of law.
