Sentencing two young men and extending the arrest of three Jerusalemites
The District court judge sentenced on Tuesday Abdullah Abbasi for 34 months of actual imprisonment. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the District judge sentenced his client for 34 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 6 months for three years in addition to paying a fine of 2000 NIS on charges of throwing Molotov Cocktails and firecrackers; note that Abdullah has been under arrest since last August. The lawyer added that the Magistrate judge sentenced Baha’ Naser for 60 days of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 4 months for two years; the judge gave him until 27/2/2015 to turn himself in. Lawyer Mahmoud also explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Musbah Abu Sbeih until 18/01/2015 on charges of incitement on Facebook, and also extended the arrest of Musbah’s son until 16/1/2015. The Magistrate judge also extended the arrest of Farid Toubasi until 18/01/2015.
