Extending the arrest of eight Jerusalemites
The Magistrate court judge extended the arrest of eight Jerusalemites. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of five citizens from Al-Tur until Friday. They are: 16-year old Jamal Za’tari, 17-year old Ibrahim Abu Jom’a, 18-year old Mousa Abulhawa, 18-year old Mohammad Akram Abulhawa and the 18-year old Mohammad Khaled Abu Ghannam. The judge also extended the arrest of Ibrahim Amoudi until 16/2/2015 for interrogation. A session was held on Monday for Tarek Kurd and Fouad Rweidi who are accused of “incitement on Facebook” and the judge extended their arrest until 4/5/2015 for a witnesses hearing session. The judge sentenced on Monday Obai Alami and Kifah Tamimi for a 200-hours course and a suspended probation of six months for three years.
