The occupation raids Al-Tur Boys School
The occupation forces and the Musta’ribeen raided on Monday morning Al-Tur Boys School in Al-Tur. The students’ parents’ committee considered the raid to be a serious precedent since it is the first time the forces go inside the classrooms and buildings of the school. The committee requested the Ministry of Education and Jerusalem municipality to stop the violations of the Israeli police in the schools of Al-Tur and the daily presence in front of the schools and the streets leading to them especially at times when the students leave their schools and are on their way home; note that the forces chase, harass, provoke, and arrest the students. The head of the committee, Mohammad Abu Ghannam, explained that Special Forces and Musta’ribeen (undercover police) raided the school and searched the classrooms and halls. The students suffered a state of fear and some students ran away from the schools. He added that the forces tried to arrest a group of students but the education administration prevented the arrest.
