Extending the arrest of 9 Jerusalemites and releasing 6 others
The Magistrate judge extended on Monday the arrest of 9 Jerusalemites and released 6 others. Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, said that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Mahdi Sayyad and Yousef Abu Jom’a until Thursday and Kamal Alami and Mohannad Gheith until Friday. The judge also extended the arrest of Mahmoud Abu Usba’ who is accused of stabbing a settler in West Jerusalem near the City Hall until 9/3/2015. The judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Zaghal until 14/3/2015 and Ayoub Abulhawa until 5/3/2015. The District court judge extended the arrest of Hani Gheith until 31/3/2015. Prison sentence… Lawyer Mahmoud added that the Magistrate judge sentenced on Monday Ahmad Da’na for 12 months and a session was scheduled on 5/5/2015 to confirm the sentence. Releases… The lawyer also added that the Magistrate judge released on Monday Ibrahim Amoudi and Atyeh Rajabi with personal bails of 7 thousand NIS; note that they were arrested at the beginning of last February and were exposed to harsh interrogation at Al-Maskobyeh in “Cells 20”. The judge also decided to release Mansour Salim, Ma’moon Gheith and Khalil Shawish with a third-party bail of 6 thousand NIS and house arrest for two days for each. The judge also released Ala’ Abu Gharbyeh with a 2000-NIS bail, house arrest for 5 days and a third-party bail of 3 thousand NIS.
