March 4, 2015

The Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee said that the families of the Jerusalemite prisoners were surprised on Wednesday morning to find a suspicious object in the courtyard of the Negev Desert Prison as they were heading to visit their relatives. The object was placed in a carton box and was near the waiting area designated for the prisoners’ families. The committee added that after checking the object, battery and wires were found and they informed the prison’s administration. The families were isolated from 8 a.m. until the afternoon hours when the explosive experts arrived. The families assured that the issued object was placed there on purpose in order to disrupt their visit; note that the object was placed only two meters away from the first bus.
