Arresting the mother of the Jerusalemite prisoner “Mohammad Shawish” from the Negev Desert Prison
The Israeli occupation authorities arrested on Wednesday afternoon the 48-year old Amal Mahmoud Hasan Shawish while she was visiting her son Mohammad in the Negev Desert Prison. Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, said that the occupation authorities arrested Mohammad Shawish’s mother under the pretext of finding a cell phone when searching her before visiting her son. Abu Asab pointed out that Shawish lives in Bab Hutta in the Old City of Jerusalem.
