The injury of the child Anas Yehya Abdeen with a rubber bullet in his arm
March 6, 2015

The 7-year old Anas Yehya Abdeen was injured on Friday night when he was standing at the balcony of his house at the same time when the Special Forces surrounded and raided the house of Mohammad Salaymeh in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud. Yehya Abdeen, the child’s father, explained that his child was standing at the houses’ balcony and the forces were at the other side of the house searching the Salaymeh family houses and he suddenly heard his son crying. Abdeen added: “When my wife stepped outside to check on my son, he was bleeding from his arm and a black rubber bullet was next to him. We transferred him to Al-Maqased hospital and did the necessary check-ups. He only suffered external bruises.” Abdeen pointed out that the rubber bullet hit the iron bars at the balcony before hitting his son’s arm and that’s why his son’s injury was minor and he suffered no fractures. Abdeen confirmed that there were no clashes in the area when his son was targeted and the Special Forces were only surrounding Salaymeh’s houses to search it. unnamed (14)
