The occupation isolates a man and a woman from Al-Aqsa Mosque for one month
The Magistrate court judge decided on Tuesday to isolate a man and a woman from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 30 days in addition to signing a third-party bail of 5-thousand NIS for each. Lawyer Ramzi Kateelat from “Lawyers for Jerusalem” said that the public prosecution requested to isolate the Marabouts Aziz Abbasi and Hanadi Halawani for 90 days, a personal bail and a 7-thousand NIS third-party bail. The lawyer explained that the prosecution accused the Marabouts of “incitement and racism” during the court session but after hearing the defense claims, it was obvious that the materials available to the court did not indicate this offense. The lawyer also said that the judge decided to isolate Halawani and Abbasi for 30 days from Al-Aqsa Mosque and to sign a third-party bail of 5-thousand NIS for each. On the other hand, Al-Dameer organization lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud said that the Magistrate judge decided to release Saleh Dirbas with a 3-thousand NIS bail; note that he was arrested on Monday. The judge also released Abdelsalam Awadallah on condition of house arrest for 5 days. Lawyer Mahmoud added that the young man Mahmoud Gheith was presented to the District court on Tuesday and the judge extended his arrest.
