The arrest of one woman and three young men from Al-Aqsa

The Israeli police arrested on Tuesday one woman and three young men from Al-Aqsa Mosque under the pretext of assaulting police men and obstructing their work in addition to starting trouble. The detainees are: Abeer Bashir and she was isolated from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 15 days, Mohammad Al-Deeb from Al-Jdeideh, Mustafa Mwasi from Tamra and Shadi Sha’abneh from Akko. The lawyer of Qudsuna Organization for Human Rights, Ramzi Kateelat, explained that Al-Qishleh police released Abeer Bashir on condition of isolation from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 15 days and forced her to sign a 5-thousand NIS third-party bail. The police extended the arrest of the three young men until Wednesday. A state of tension occurred at Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday after there were threats of group break-ins on the day of the 20th Knesset Elections. The police assaulted one woman and deliberately harassed Al-Aqsa guards in addition to assaulting two young men with electric shocks. The extremist Moshe Feiglin attempted on Tuesday to break into Al-Aqsa Mosque through Dung Gate along with his son to bless his son’s marriage at Al-Aqsa but the police prevented him and he waited for his sun near Al-Silsileh Gate in a provocative way.
