The occupation prevents Abu Asab and Gheith from travelling for 5 months

The occupation authorities handed on Tuesday two Jerusalemite activists military orders signed by the Mister of Interior “Gilad Ardan” based on article 6 of the emergency law of 1948 which prevent them from travelling for 5 months for security reasons. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation Intelligence at Al-Maskobyeh called the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Dameer organization for prisoner support and human rights, Abdellatif Gheith, and the head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, Amjad Abu Asab for interrogation and handed them orders that prevent them from travelling from 17/3/2015 until 23/8/2015 for security reasons. The first prevention was a year and a half ago and by the time the new prevention order ends (late August), Gheith would have been banned from travelling for two years; Gheith pointed out that he received a “travel ban” order last month for one month and the order was renewed on Tuesday for five months. It is noteworthy that Gheith has been banned from entering the West Bank for 4 years (first prevention order was in September 2011 and it has been recently extended until September 2015).
