Arresting six women from Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Israeli police arrested on Tuesday six women after they left Al-Aqsa Mosque, and isolated three women for various periods. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the police arrested the 23-year old Sumaya Taha from “Kabul in the 1948 lands”, 22-year old Rawand Abbasi, Wisal Abulhawa, Samar Sabbagh, Maram Joudeh and another woman that was unidentified. Extension of arrest The police extended on Tuesday the arrest of Sumaya Taha and Rawand Abbasi for 24 hours and lawyer Ramzi Kateelat tried to appeal the Magistrate court’s decision but due to the lack of an admin since it was late, the two women have been transferred to Al-Ramleh prison on Tuesday night; they will be presented to the Magistrate court on Wednesday morning. Conditional release Lawyer Ramzi Kateelat from Qudsuna Organization for Human Rights explained that the police at Al-Qishleh police center released Wisal Abulhawa and Maram Joudeh after handing them isolation orders from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 15 days, and made them sign a personal bail and a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS for each. Isolation for three months Lawyer Kateelat also added that the Magistrate judge decided to isolate Aida Sidawi from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 3 months and imposed a 1500-NIS bail on her in addition to signing a personal bail and a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS; note that she was arrested on Monday.
