Extending the arrest of Jerusalemite prisoner’s wife and 15 others

The Magistrate and District courts judges extended the arrest of 15 Jerusalemites and the wife of a Jerusalemite prisoner, and the judge released two minors. Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Joudeh Abu Jom’a until 12/5/2015, and Mohammad Talhami and Wael Salaymeh until next Thursday where an indictment will be submitted against Salaymeh; he also extended the arrest of Hashem Shweiki until the end of the current month. The lawyer added that the judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Younes Abulhawa until 18/5/2015, Mousa Kurd until 30/4/2015, Naeem Hadreh until 28/4/2015, Mohammad Za’atreh until 12/5/2015, Abdullah Julani until 23/6/2015, Ashraf Qawasmi until 1/6/2015 and Adham Abu Nijmeh until 27/4/2015. He also added that the District judge extended the arrest of Ayoub Abulhawa until 15/4/2015, and an absentia session was held for Mahmoud Abu Usba’ (accused of stabbing a settler in Jaffa Street) and the judge extended his arrest until 31/3/2015; note that he is being treated at the hospital. Labib Mustafa was presented to the judge (he is not arrested) and a session was scheduled for him on 28/4/2015. The judge also extended the arrest of Omar Abulhawa until the end of the month for sentencing. On the other hand, lawyer Mahmoud explained that the Magistrate judge decided to release Shadi Abbasi on condition of house arrest for 7 days and signing a 5-thousand NIS bail, and also released Mohammad Abdelrazzak on condition of house arrest for 5 days and paying a 1000-NIS bail and signing a 5-housand NIS bail. Extending the arrest of Jerusalemite prisoner’s wife Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the Jerusalemite prisoner’s wife who was arrested on Monday while visiting her husband at Eshel prison in Beer Sheva was presented on Tuesday to the Magistrate court in beer Sheva, and the judge decided to extend her arrest for five more days. The lawyer appealed the decision and the judge responded with extended her arrest until next Thursday.
