The occupation arrests the Jerusalemite groom Tarek Ibrahim on his wedding day!!!
The occupation police released on Friday afternoon the 60-year old Ziad Abdullah Ibrahim and his 30-year old son Tarek after detaining and interrogating them for several hours at Al-Maskobyeh and Al-Qishleh police station. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the Israeli police arrested the Ziad Ibrahim and his son Tarek after raiding their house in Bab Hutta in the Old City of Jerusalem. The lawyer pointed out that Tarek’s wedding was on Friday and he was released along with his father after they were interrogated and after signing a third-party bail. The lawyer added that the Israeli police deliberately delayed the interrogation procedures and the release of Tarek despite informing them that he was getting married on that same day and that he needed to leave in order to finish-up the wedding preparations; note that there was no reason for the arrest and Tarek and his father were not accused of anything but were only interrogating on carrying out the “groom’s wedding procession” at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Tarek’s father explained that Intelligence personnel along with the Israeli police raided his house in the neighborhood of Bab Hutta in the Old City of Jerusalem and arrested him along with his son Tarek and transferred them to Al-Qishleh police station where they were interrogated regarding the groom’s wedding procession that launched from Al-Aqsa towards “Burj Al-Laqlaq” and regarding the banners that were held during the procession. Tarek’s father added that they were released from Al-Qishleh after being detained for several hours. It is noteworthy that Tarek Ibrahim is a freed prisoner and had spent more than one year inside the occupation prisons and several months of house-arrest. He was also isolated from his house in the Old City and Al-Aqsa several times. The family considered the arrest of Tarek and his father on Tarek’s wedding day as “revenge and an attempt to steal the joy from the family”.
