The child Ghina Nour Abu Nab passes away after a fire broke out in the family’s house
The 3-year old girl Ghina Nour Abu Nab passes away on Tuesday noon while her parents and brother were seriously injured after a fire broke out in their house in the “Middle Neighborhood” in Silwan. According to the paramedics, the reasons behind the breakout of the fire were yet to be knows but an investigation will be conducted. The fire led to the burning of the house’s rooms as well as all the furniture. Muhyee Eddin Alayan from Wad Al-Joz fire station explained that the paramedics evacuated the residents of the house as the parents and one child were standing by the door and were immediately evacuated outside the house while the 3-year old girl was stuck inside the house. The firefighters searched for the little girl and found her hiding inside a closet. Alayan explained that the injuries were severe as they suffered from several burns and suffocation.
