Settlers break into Al-Aqsa on the anniversary of occupying Jerusalem and arresting citizens

Dozens of settlers raided on Sunday the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on the anniversary of occupying the eastern part of Jerusalem (anniversary of unification of Jerusalem). Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that more than 160 settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque in the form of groups and carried out tours in its courtyards. Settlers formed dancing and singing groups after exiting Al-Aqsa through Al-Silsileh Gate which dozens of Muslim worshippers responded with Chants of “God is Great” and chants against the settlers’ break-ins as well as chants confirming the Islamic identity of Al-Aqsa. The police arrested Mohammad Ibrahim from the village of Kabul in the 1948 lands from inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Al-Aqsa guards confronted one settler who attempted to practice his religious rituals inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa; he was arrested by the police. Arrests in the village of Esawyeh The occupation forces arrested two young men on Sunday early morning from the village of Esawyeh. They are: Shadi Alayan and Mohammad Saleh. 1 2 3 4 5
