Releasing Adli Maragha…extensions of arrest and conditional releases
The administration of Jalboo’ prison released the 33-year old Jerusalemite prisoner Adli Mohammad Ata Maragha who is a resident of the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan; note that Maragha completed his 28-month prison sentence. Maragha was transferred in between several prisons after he was interrogated at Al-Maskobyeh cells. He was transferred in between Negev, Rimon, Megiddo and Jalboo’ prisons and was charged of participating in Silwan’s clashes. Adli is the brother of the two prisoners Othman Maragha and Adnan Maragha who was freed in the “Shalit” deal but was arrested again. Extending the arrest of 6 Jerusalemites… Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of the minors Mohammad Syouri and Omar Syouri until 21/5/2015 and Sharif Rajabi and Isam Anati until 20/5/2015; note that they were arrested on Sunday during the settlers’ march on the anniversary of occupying Jerusalem. The judge also extended the arrest of Ali Mahmoud until 25/5/2015 and Ghaleb Shallodi was presented to the Magistrate judge to read the indictment against him; note that the judge also extended his arrest. Mohammad Abulhawa was also presented to the judge and a session was scheduled for him on 21/6/2015; note that Mohammad is not detained. The District judge extended the arrest of Mahdi Aton until 2/6/2015. Conditional releases… Lawyer Mahmoud added that the District judge decided to release Baha’ Ajloni with a 5-thousand NIS bail, a third-party bail of 10 thousand NIS, house-arrest and deportation from his house in the neighborhood of Wad Al-Joz to his grandmother’s house in the Old City of Jerusalem; note that the judge had previously extended his arrest several times and Monday’s session was to discuss the conduct officer’s report. The judge also decided to release Amjad Baytouni with an 800-NIS bail, a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS and isolation from Sultan Suleiman Street for two weeks. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Magistrate judge released the 17-year old Baker Mohammad Aweis with a 1000-NIS bail and house-arrest from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. until the end of May; he also released the child Ma’roof Matour. The occupation’s Intelligence called Khaled Al-Zeer for interrogation at Salah Eddin Street police station and the interrogation lasted for several hours.
