The occupation releases two prisoners…extensions of arrest
The Israeli authorities released on Sunday two Jerusalemite prisoners from Shu’fat refugee camp after completing their prison sentences. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Negev prison administration released on Sunday the 30-year old Jerusalemite prisoner Adham Mohammad Hindi from Shu’fat refugee camp after he completed his 6-month administrative prison sentence. Family and friends were waiting for the released prisoner outside the prison. Hindi is married and has three children. It is noteworthy that the activist Adham Hindi was arrested at the beginning of December 2014 from his house in Shu’fat refugee camp. During the raid and arrest, he was assaulted and suffered a broken leg and was then sentenced for 6 months of administrative imprisonment. The Jerusalemite prisoner Ishaq Mohammad Gheith was also released on Sunday from Jalboo’ prison after completing his 21-month prison sentence; Gheith is also a resident of Shu’fat refugee camp. Extensions of arrest… Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the Magistrate judge extended on Sunday the arrest of Mohammad Rabah Alayan from the village of Esawyeh until 15/6/2015 and Amir Basti until 9/6/2015; note that Amir was arrested on Sunday. The judge also extended the arrest of Ghaleb Shallodi and Isam Anati until 28/6/2015, Amer Bazlameet until 15/6/2015 and Yazan Alayan until 7/9/2015 for sentencing. The prosecution submitted on Sunday an indictment to the Magistrate court that included charges of throwing stones against the minors Nadim Obeid and Ala’ Obeid. Nadim was released under conditions and la’ is still under arrest; a session was scheduled for them on 10/6/2015. The judge also scheduled session for Sultan Sayyad and Mohammad Abu Jom’a on 14/7/2015; the lawyer pointed out that both clients are not detained. The judge also extended the arrest of Ahmad Eweisat, Mohammad Ja’bari, Khalil Odeh, Amer Abbasi and Daoud Abu Sbitan until 9/6/2015. A session was also scheduled for Mohammad Syouri on 13/10/2015. The Information Center was informed that the District court extended the arrest of Mohammad Naser Abbasi who was arrested last month until 28/7/2015.
