The occupation arrests a citizen and others from Sheikh Jarrah
The occupation forces arrested last Friday the activist Saleh Diab and others who were participating in the weekly march of Sheikh Jarrah. Sources from the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah explained that the forces arrested Diab and two participants in the weekly march that roamed the streets of the neighborhood on the anniversary of the 48th Naksa (Day of Catastrophe) and against settlement in East Jerusalem; the forces transferred the detainees to interrogation centers. The weekly march roamed the streets of the neighborhood and passed by the houses that were taken over by settlers in the last few years. Palestinian flags were held as well as banners with slogans against the occupation and settlements. The Musta’ribeen (undercover police) arrested Ahmad Darwish from the village of Esawyeh.
