A settler attempts to break into Al-Aqsa Mosque through Al-Qataneen gate…and a march in support of the Prophet Mohammad PBUH
One settler attempted to break into Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday through Al-Qataneen gate (one of Al-Aqsa Mosque’s gates).
Riyad Hallaq explained that he witnessed a settler holding a bag and a trumpet while he was in Al-Qataneen market that leads to Al-Aqsa. The settler was trying to go up the stairs towards Al-Aqsa and assaulted one policeman who was present near the gate in an attempt to break into Al-Aqsa; he ended up falling down.
Hallaq added: “the settler attempted to break into the Mosque again and I quickly ran to the area and held him and prevented him until the occupation police came and arrested him.”
On the other hand, dozens of Palestinians protested at Al-Aqsa Mosque to condemn the actions of the Israeli female settler who insulted the Prophet Mohammad PBUH last Thursday and described him as a “pig”.
The participants raised the Holy Quran and chanted slogans in support of the Prophet PBUH.
