Two settlers assault the Jerusalemite Mohammad Barakat
The 38-year old Mohammad Hussam Barakat (driver of an Israeli bus) was injured with wounds in his face after two settlers sprayed him with pepper gas. Barakat explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center and said: “two settlers got on the bus that I was driving from Betar Elite station and stayed until the last station in Sheikh Jarrah. They refused to pay the tickets despite being in the bus for more than 45 minutes.” He added: “When we arrived to the last station, they still refused to pay and sprayed me with pepper gas before leaving the bus and then quickly ran away.” He added that he left the bus and asked for help from the people passing by due to the severe pain he was in.
