Extending the arrest of 17 Jerusalemites including 9 children

The District and Magistrate judges extended the arrest of 17 Jerusalemites including 9 minors. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Nouh Ghazzawi, Ayoub Ghazzawi, Ibrahim Ghazzawi and Ahmad Abed Ghazzawi until 30/7/2015 on charges of assaulting settlers in the neighborhood of Al-Thori. The judge also extended the arrest of the minors Mohammad Mubtasem Obeid, Hani Naser and Yehya Dirbas until 30/07/2015 on charges of throwing stones at Israeli forces. Lawyer Mahmoud added that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Fares Shreiteh until 3/8/2015; note that he is being interrogated at Al-Maskobyeh cells. In a related matter, the District judge extended the arrest of Mahdi Aton until 23/11/2015, Mohammad Abbasi and Ali Mahmoud until 7/10/2015. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of the minors Adam Mahmoud, Mohammad Mizi’ro and Majd Mustafa until 30/07/2015 on charges of throwing stones in the village of Esawyeh. The judge also extended the arrest of the 17-year old Abdel Jawwad Ghazzawi, 17-year old Atyeh Ghazzawi and the 16-year old Ahmad Rweidi until 30/07/2015. The center was also informed that the police released the 13-year old Mohammad Samer Mahmoud, 13-year old Munir Dari, 13-year old Ahmad Saeed Mahmoud and the 13-year old Odai Dirbas from the village of Esawyeh with no conditions. The occupation forces carried out a series of arrests in the village of Esawyeh and arrested one young man and 10 children.
