Extending the arrest of 10 Jerusalemites and releasing two minors
The Magistrate and District judges extended on Wednesday the arrest of 10 Jerusalemites and released two minors. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the District judge extended the arrest of Nouh Ghazzawi until completing the legal procedures against them, and Ahmad Ghazzawi and Ibrahim Ghazzawi until 20/09/2015 until the “conduct officer” releases his report. The judge also extended the arrest of Yehya Dirbas until 17/08/20156 when the “conduct officer” will release his report and the public prosecution submitted on Wednesday an indictment against Amir Mahmoud and the judge extended his arrest until Thursday. The Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Emad Sbitan and Firas Mahmoud until completing the legal procedures against them. Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer explained that the Magistrate judge decided to release the minors Mohammad Haymooni and Ibrahim Abu Nab with a 300-NIS bail, a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS and house-arrest for 5 days; note that Haymooni family was surprised when their child was released from Ofek prison after he was transferred there. The District judge also decided to extend the arrest of Majd Mustafa until 17/08/2015 until the so-called “conduct officer” releases his report, and Abed Ghazzawi and Ahmad Rweidi until 20/08/2015.
