Al-Aqsa: Closing the gates and preventing women from entering the Mosque
The occupation police closed on Tuesday morning most of Al-Aqsa Mosque’s gates and imposed restrictions on the entrance of Muslim worshippers.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation police closed Lions Gate, Kind Faisal, Ghawanmeh, Hadeed (Iron) and Al-Qataneen and deployed its forces on the gates that were left open (Hutta, Al-Silsileh and Al-Majles). The forces imposed restriction on the entrance of Muslim worshippers and prevented all women from entering the Mosque.
Witnesses explained that the occupation police prevented all females from entering Al-Aqsa and prevented the students of Al-Aqsa school from entering for nearly one hour. They also checked the IDs of the Islamic Awqaf’s employees before entering the Mosque.
The police assaulted the worshippers while they were present near Al-Silsileh Gate and used force against them.
Settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday and carried out a tour into its courtyards under the protection of Special Forces that were also deployed in Al-Aqsa courtyards.
