Preventing women from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque
August 27, 2015

The occupation police imposed restrictions on the entrance of Muslims to Al-Aqsa Mosque while settlers were allowed to break-in through Dung Gate. The police arrested the journalist Zeina Qatmeereh while monitoring the events at Al-Silsileh Gate (one of Al-Aqsa gates). Witnesses explained that the police established iron barriers at Al-Aqsa gates and prevented all women from entering for the fourth consecutive day; note that the prevention is from the morning hours until 11 a.m. The police also detained the men’s IDs before entering Al-Aqsa and prevented some of them from entering. Also, restrictions were imposed on the entrance of the students of Al-Aqsa Girls School as they were only allowed to reach their school through Al-Silsileh Gate; note that several students were delayed and detained at Al-Silsileh Gate. 11924705_10152988619882466_1262472708_n
