A female demonstration at Al-Silsileh Gate in protest at being barred from entering Al-Aqsa
Nearly 30 settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday in conjunction with preventing some young men, women and children from entering.
The Israeli Special Forces along with police personnel established iron barriers at Al-Aqsa Gates and imposed the daily siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque by preventing all women from entering (a daily procedures for the past week in which women are barred from entering from the morning hours until 11 a.m.); note that this is the time when settlers break into the Mosque.
The forces also prevented some men from entering and checked and detained their personal IDs.
A demonstration at Al-Aqsa Gates
In conjunction with these Israeli restrictions and practices, the women barred from entering Al-Aqsa organized a demonstration at Al-Silsileh Gate and raised banners asking to allow them to enter Al-Aqsa. They also warned of the danger of continuing to prevent them from entering and demanded urgent Arab Islamic intervene to protect and save Al-Aqsa.
Women also performed “Al-Duha” Prayer at Al-Silsileh Gate after preventing them from entering Al-Aqsa.
They also chanted “God is Great” while the settlers were exiting Al-Aqsa through Al-Silsileh Gate after completing their break-in and tour inside Al-Aqsa.
