Clashes in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh…heavy deployment of occupation forces in Silwan
Scattered clashes broke out on Monday night in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that scattered clashes broke out in the area of “Hosh Abu Tayeh” and in “Maragha neighborhood” in Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan between the occupation forces and young men. The center was informed that the forces fired tear-gas and sound grenades as well as rubber bullets in Hosh Abu Tayeh and the young men responded with throwing stones towards the forces that raided the neighborhood. Witnesses added that the young men attacked the settler’s guards’ vehicle in Ein Al-Lozeh Street and large Israeli forces including police, Special Forces and intelligence personnel raided the neighborhood and were deployed in the streets. The young men also threw a Molotov Cocktails towards the vehicle of the settlers’ guards in “Maragha neighborhood”.
