The Israeli settlers continued breaking into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday while the occupation authorities continued to prevent groups of women and young men from entering the Mosque.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that 24 settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday morning through Dung Gate in the forms of consecutive groups. They carried out tours into Al-Aqsa courtyards and attempted to provoke the women by verbally assaulting them as they were exiting through Al-Silsileh Gate.
The occupation forces established checkpoints at Al-Aqsa Gates and prevented black listed women and several young men from entering; they checked and detained the IDs of the elderly.
Women demonstrated at Al-Silsileh Gate to refuse the occupation’s decision of preventing them from entering Al-Aqsa from the morning hours until 2:30 p.m.
The occupation police also prevented on Tuesday female journalists from entering Al-Aqsa after their names were added to the “black list”. According to the available information, the occupation prevented three journalists from entering Al-Aqsa but one of them managed to enter through a different gate since her name was not added to the list at that specific gate.
