On the first day of Al-Adha Eid…arresting 13 Jerusalemites
The occupation forces arrested on Thursday early morning (first day of Al-Adha Eid) 8 Jerusalemites from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan and handed another a call for interrogation. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces raided the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud and arrested Rami Hisham Abu Rammouz (24), Mohammad Hisham Abu Rammouz (20), Baker Aweis (17), Malek Shweiki (17), Mohammad Marwan Annous (17), Ayman Marwan Annous, Mohammad Nidal Abu Mayaleh and Ammar Nidal Abu Mayaleh. The locals explained to the center that the occupation forces fired a sound grenades and rubber bullets while raiding the courtyard of a house to hand the interrogation calls. Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the forces also arrested 4 Jerusalemites from the village of Sur Baher. They are: Mohammad Salah Abu Kaf, Khaled Walid Jadallah and his brother Mohammad. Also, the 18-year old Abdel Karim Khalilo was arrested from the village of Sur Baher. The occupation authorities also arrested and assaulted Hamzeh Nimer-one of Al-Aqsa Mosque’s guards- while he was at Al-Aqsa.
