Releasing 20 Jerusalemites and extending the arrest of five others including a child
The District and Magistrate judge decided to release 20 Jerusalemites on Sunday and extended the arrest of 5 others including a child. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Majd Shkeirat until Tuesday and the child Abdel Naser Odeh until the beginning of October; Odeh is being interrogated at Al-Maskobyeh cells. The authorities also released Ali Sabri Abu Diab (20) on condition of house-arrest for 5 days and banned him from going to the area of Wad Al-Rababeh in Silwan for 10 days in addition to signing a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS. Also, the 19-year old Ahmad Jalal Al-A’war was released on condition of house-arrest for 5 days and a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS. Ziad Ahmad Al-Qaq (21) and Ala’ Tawfiq Abu Tayeh (17) were also released on condition of house-arrest for 5 days and a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS and a ban on going to the road leading to the settlement outpost ‘Bet Yonatan” in Silwan.
