A Martyr in Shu’fat refugee camp…injuries and arrests in Jerusalem

The 22-year old Ahmad Salah passed away on Friday after he was shot by the occupation forces during violent clashes that broke out in Shu’fat refugee camp. Thaer Fasfoos, spokesman of Fateh movement in Shu’fat refugee camp, explained that the Martyr Salah passed away after being shot and arrested near the checkpoint in the camp. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that 8 Jerusalemites were injured on Friday with live bullets in the neck, head, stomach and limbs during clashes that broke out in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud-Silwan, the village of Esawyeh and Shu’fat refugee camp and dozens others suffocated and were injured by shrapnel of sound and tear-gas grenades during scattered clashes in Al-Tur, Shu’fat refugee camp and Jabal Al-Mukabber; the forces also arrested five Jerusalemites from the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Joz after raiding their homes.  . In Shu’fat refugee camp, Thaer Fasfoos explained that two young men were injured with live bullets and were in critical condition. One injury was arrested and transferred for treatment while the other wasn’t able to be transported for treatment due to violent clashes in the area. Thaer Fasfoos also explained that one young man was injured in the head. In a related matter, the occupation forces arrested the Jerusalemite photographer Khadijeh Obeid from the village of Esawyeh while coming back from work. In the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Joz, sources explained that the forces raided several houses and ascended on top of the roods and arrested five people including Naser Jamal Siam (19) and Rakan Nabil Siam (17). The forces also arrested Asid Saeed Aboudeh Gheith from Al-Wad (area of Damascus Gate) after assaulting him as explained by Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee. The 11-year old Nasim Rabee’ Ghazali and the 16-year old Mohammad Hamdan Muhtaseb from the village of Al-Tur were also arrested by the occupation forces.
