In pictures: Funeral of Martyr Ahmad Salah in Shu’fat refugee camp
Thousands of Palestinians participated on Saturday morning in the funeral of the 24-year old Martyr Ahmad Jamal Salah who passed away after being shot by Israeli forces during violent clashes that broke out in Shu’fat refugee camp.
The funeral walked in the streets of the refugee camp- Martyr’s home- amid chants of supporting the Martyr and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Palestinian flags, Islamic banners and Fateh movement banners were raised during the funeral which reflected a state of national unity in the refugee camp. The Martyr’s body was buried in the cemetery of “Anata” village after praying on his soul in the camp’s mosque.
