The injury of Isra’ Ja’abees with severe burns…and a witness denies the occupation’s story
A Palestinian woman was injured with severe burns under the pretext of setting off an explosive device in her car near Al-Z’ayem checkpoint at the entrance of Jerusalem. The occupation police said in a statement that the occupation police noticed a suspicious car and asked her to stop. When the police approached the car, she started chanting “God is Great” and set off an explosive device and severely injured herself and slightly injured a policeman; the police started investigating the incident. A witness said that the woman was driving her car and an electric fault occurred in the vehicle before reaching Al-Z’ayem checkpoint which led to the injury of the woman with a high state of fear and the air bag inside the steering wheel exploded and white spray came out as shown in the pictures. The occupation police said that the woman is 31 years old and is a resident of Jericho city. The injured woman is the 31-year old Isra’ Ja’abees from the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber and lives in Al-Tur.
