The occupation threatens to demolish three houses for the family of Martyr Ala’ Abu Jamal
October 31, 2015

Joint crews of Israeli forces and occupation municipality raided on Friday the houses of Abu Jamal family in the village of J\abal Al-Mukabber south of Jerusalem. Abu Jamal family explained that the municipality crews handed administrative demolition notices to the house of Mohammad Abu Jamal, brother of Martyr Ala’, under the pretext of building without a permit; the 110-square meters house where six individuals live has been established since 2001. The municipality also handed an administrative demolition order to the house of Martyr Ala’ Abu Jamal; it is the same house in which an order to confiscate it was issued against it by the Commander of Internal Front last week.  The house has been established since 1995. It is noteworthy that the forces recently raided the house of Safa’ Abu Jamal, sister of Ala’, and took measurements, checked its walls and created holes in them.  The forces claimed that the house is owned by Martyr Ala’ and that the first house that was checked and a demolition order was issued against is not owned by Ala’. Therefore, the occupation authorities threaten to demolish three houses next to each other owned by the family of Martyr Ala’ Abu Jamal. The forces also raided the house of Akram Abu Jamal looking for the family of the injured Bilal Abu Ghanem that was leasing an apartment from Akram but recently moved out. The municipality crews made a copy of the license of Akram’s house before withdrawing from the area.
