Al-Tur: A child is injured by a sound grenade in the school’s courtyard
The 14-year old Ibrahim Maher Salaymeh was injured by shrapnel of a sound grenade while being inside his school’s courtyard in the village of Al-Tur. The students’ parents’ committee explained that Salaymeh was injured inside the courtyard of Al-Shamilah School in Al-Tur when he was having the sports class with his classmates and teacher. The sound grenade was fired towards the courtyard and the child was injured in his leg by its shrapnel. The committee explained that the child was transferred to the hospital for treatment, and condemned the daily targeting of Al-Tur schools through chasing and arresting students. It is noteworthy that the Israeli forces were stationed at the school’s gates with police dogs on Wednesday and arrested one child. The committee pointed out that the forces chased the students on Thursday after they got off school and fired sound grenades towards them.
