The occupation raids Al-Maqased hospital looking for the name of one young man detained in the occupation’s prisons
The occupation forces and intelligence raided on Monday morning Al-Maqased hospital in the village of Al-Tur in Jerusalem. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation’s Special Forces along with border control raided Al-Maqased hospital and were deployed in the outside courtyard while several forces and intelligence personnel raided the hospital’s building. Witnesses explained that the intelligence interrogator along with Israeli soldiers headed towards the hospital’s administration and requested to check the name of one child who is currently detained by the occupation authorities under the pretext of receiving treatment at the hospital. Afterwards, they headed towards the emergency department to check the computer and make sure the child’s name is not in the hospital’s files. The occupation authorities claim that the detained child had participated in clashes in the city of Jerusalem and was injured and received treatment at Al-Maqased hospital. The occupation forces raided Al-Maqased hospital 4 times during October:
- 10/10/2015: The forces raided the hospital looking for people injured during the Martyrdom of Mohammad Mohammad Ali in the area of Damascus Gate. They searched private vehicles and ambulances before and after leaving the hospital.
- 27/10/2015: Masked forces raided the emergency and administration departments looking for the file of a 16-year old child under the pretext of finding a prescription at his home. The doctor who signed the prescription was interrogated and another doctor was requested for interrogation.
- 28/10/2015: The forces raided the hospital and confiscated the surveillance cameras DVR.
- 29/10/2015: Israeli forces raided the hospital and fired sound grenades, tear-gas canisters and rubber bullets in the outside courtyard and injured several workers and patients.
